Party Poker’s software was one of the very first softwares on the market, and they constantly improve it. The website, the client and the software was fully renewed in 2008. The new client and the graphics of the tables improved a lot, the software is easy-to-play, user friendly, and recently they included numerous functions, which had not been available in previous versions. Some of these are just ordinary functions, like the Players/Flop ratio in the lobby at the table selection section (only Hands/Hour and Average Pot Size was available earlier), or our statistics at the current table. Most of the new features and settings that make the game easier, and are especially useful for multitabling. The software is stable, there are no technical problems. You can download the software for Mac, PC and Linux, and there is a Flash version also for instant play. It is very useful, that the tables are easily resizeable to whatever size you want. The auto resize function makes a layout on the screen of all the open tables, so you can see them all at once. On the whole, the software is good, stable and player friendly.

Party Poker was able to maintain the loose and profitable games for the past years, with the continuously arriving newcomers and gamblers, who would like to have fun. This is also true for the medium stakes. You can find easy-to-beat opponents at the $2/$4 no limit tables and $5/$10 limit tables, while on other poker sites you can expect tough competition at these levels.
In October 2006 Party Poker lost its market leader position with the ban of the American players. Besides this, it still generates significant volume at the cash game tables, while its tournament volume is still one of the highest. The volume of fix limit tournaments is exceptionally significant.
