There is no doubt that Daniel Negreanu, aka "Kid Poker", who lives in Las Vegas but was born in Toronto, is one of the best poker players. He is one of the highest earning tournament poker players of all time and he is promoted by a wide fan base all over the world. Thus, he could be the unofficial ambassador of poker. He was born on July 26, 1974.

In 1967, his parents moved from Romania to Canada. They always encouraged their children to achieve their dreams. Listening to the parental advice Negreanu dropped out of school right before his graduation and started playing poker. Meanwhile, he increased his bankroll by beating his old rivals twice her age.
